Default Removing the EMBLEMS

i have an S80, white in color. i wanted to remove the S80 badge and the T6 badge but leave the VOLVO on the center, how would i do that without removing my paint, or having to touch up the area. i want to remove the cleanest way possible so that it does not leave any marks on the paint. any knowledge about this will help me. thanks

wonderful question! i would like to know as well.

I am not sure on volvos but on most cars you can use fishing line to pop them off and then use some Oops or Goof Off to get the adhesive off... then it will be some times till the paint there fades consitently but i am interested in this too.

Take a blower dryer on low heat and or high heat for a little bit of time to melt the adhesieve backing. Then take some fishing line and run it behind the emblem. Once it is removed use some Goo Gone to take the excess adhesieve that is left behind. Wash it, and wax the area then.

Most of the time it isn't even that hard. Just grab and pull off. Rub some with your finger to rub the Adheasive off then clean with cleaner and done.

Some can be Hard and you will have to work at it some.

Are all Volvo Emblems the simple "stick on" type? I have "debadged" vehicles in the past simply by using dental floss and Goo Gone, but I know that some vehicles also have a hole or holes drilled where some of the emblems sit. Not sure if that is the case for Volvo or not.

Yes all Volvo emblems to my knowledge are simple stick ons.

All except the Volvo emblem that is on the sides of the cars like on the 850's without sidemarkers. There is a hole behind them, but you can remove the emblem the same way. Then put sidemarkers in the spot.
