Which version of the cruise control do you have - the control unit will have either the 9 pin or 12 pin version? I am guessing it will be the 12 pin (but has 14 connectors ie 2 are not connected).

 

best bet would be to purchase the green book issued by volvo for older model cars. just go to the volvo tech library and you can order a wiring diagram for your car. if you want it for cheaper, try ebay. there are a few vendors that sell the tech books for specific repair groups cheap.
