Smile 240 wagon trim question

The previous owner of the 240 wagon that I purchased reupholstered the rear panels in the cargo area, but the carpet isn't fastened to the panels very well. I was thinking they should be glued to the panel, is that correct? Additionally, is there some rubber trim that holds the carpet to the panel? If so, where can I find this stuff, I've searched high and low. Thanks in advance!

I used washers and screws to hold mine on as all of the plastic clips broke and they cost more than screws.

The carpet is bonded to the cardboard backing, that has vinyl trim sewn to it

you can use any fabric spray glue to adhere the two layers.
