92 volvo distributor cap firing order
I have had this car for a while and have encountered several problems that arose when an alternator gave out. Ever since then ive replaced about 3 alternators and 7 batteries all under 1 year. I finally discovered a bolt was broken and caused the alternator to hit then engine cause a short-circuit and burning them out. I replaced the mass air flow sensor and several others. Today i bought a new battery since the old ones burned out and expected it to run good but to my surprise the engine still kept rattling as it has been doing for about a year now.
I need to know the firing order from the distributor caps because i have reason to believe a mechanic might have put them back on wrong but cant find the information anywhere. Also can it be my timing belt?
Thanks a lot for the help in advanced.

first of all, we need to know the year and model of the car.... 2 series are different set-ups from 7 and 9 series....
it's hard to believe that the car has run with the wires in the wrong position for over a year.... you may want to ask around some of the parts stores for a good volvo mechanic, as this may be a bit more involved than a simple tune up problem...
