Default Break Rotor Replacement + Shop Ethics

It's time to replace the break pads and rotors on my '91 240 wagon. I bought the parts from IPD but am having a shop do the work. I've been told by one shop that, on this car, when replacing the front rotors, the wheel bearing must be repacked. I'm certainly no expert, so I watched a few video's of rotor and wheel bearing replacement which only left me more sceptical about this shops claim; however, as I said, I'm no expert in this area. I'd appreciate advice from anyone with more experience.

Thanks in advance!

its not a bad idea to clean and repack the wheel bearings when you're replacing the rotors, but its not absolutely necessary, you can replace the rotors without touching the bearing.
