code list and sensor list for Volvo 740
I have a 1991 740 non Turbo that will not idle and floods out constantly. I have to have the relays exposed and will have to crank it first without the fuel pump relay if it has been flooded. It will stall out if I let it drop too low beneath 1 Rome on the gauge. Does any one here have a direct link to a code website with no rambling or unneeded off topic information?
Codes:
223
321
Ignition code:
223
224
I would also like a complete list of sensors this vehicle has to help when analyzing

Volvo OBD Trouble Codes ?
I found a good code site right there but I still like to have 3 or 4 reference sites when gathering information online. Are there any other Volvo code sites any one else here uses?

same site. home page: Volvo Maintenance Hints for 700 900 S90 V90 Models and go to the bottom of the page, there's three chooser 'drop' boxes. the 'Main FAQ Files', find "Electrical: Engine Sensors" and get taken to ... Engine Sensors
but there's really only a few on a Bosch LH car...
1) CPS on an LH 2.4 car, or Hall sensor in distributor for LH 2.2, provides all engine timing
2) MAF - mass air flow meter, measures how much air is being sucked in via a hot wire.
3) CTS aka ECT, Engine Coolant Temp Sensor, this is a double thermistor on the side of the engine under the intake manifold, one is for the ECU (Fuel Injection Control Unit), the other for the ICU (Ignition Control Unit)
4) Knock Sensor - what it says. also under the intake manifold
6) Throttle Position Switch - 'on' when the throttle is at idle, off otherwise. some versions also have a full throttle switch, this is less important.
7) oil pressure switch - just for the idiot light
8) Temp Gauge Sensor - just for the temperature gauge on the dash.
I think thats /all/ of them.
