Unhappy Great 242 at local salvage yard -- what should I pull?

So there's a late '70s 242 (non-GT) at my local "you pull" salvage yard that's virtually untouched. What should I pull that's most wanted/valuable/saleable?

It's so sad, it's a wonderful car with only 80,000 miles, and the tow receipt says "blocked exhaust." Should've definitely been saved!

Let me know and I'll start pulling!

Thanks!

grill, lights, hood and fenders so you can convert another 240 to flathood with single rounds and go for that retro looks ?

I'd imagine the CIS bits are unobtanium, fuel distributor, etc. is it a stick shift? transmission + 3-pedal assembly ?

If the car's that nice, ask them what they want for the whole thing? Might be worth restoring. Most self-pull yards sell cars.

yeah, that. and if the late 70s engine is borked, find a bent but running 89-93, and do a full power train swap

I asked if they'd sell the whole car, but they can't. I think because the way vehicles at scrap yards are titled.

It's a 1981 with the four square headlights. It's in great shape and everything is there, but there is a little rust on the rear wheel wells. I'm thinking of buying the doors -- surely someone would need a good 242 door!

Any other ideas?

All the Pick n Pulls I go to sell cars but it's a Salvage title and it's up to the buyer to do the DMV work, which isn't too difficult. Tell them you're willing to buy it as a Salvage.
