My exhaust system from the cat back is getting into pretty bad shape, I have 1 break right before the rear muffler and behind my front muffler is rusted so badly the pipe comes away in my fingers if I touch it.
Local chain would love to replace from the cat back, both mufflers and all the pipes (and they want to charge me $600 to do it) so I looked at IPD's exhaust kits (I would probably put in the sports exhaust since its not much more and the HP would be nice).
I have done brakes/shocks and basic maintenance before, but I don't want to get in over my head. I am wondering if anyone has done this before and has any suggestions to how difficult it was, and what tools you needed.
I can rent a small lift, but welding is above my skill range.

It should be very straight forward. The worse part is getting the old junk off. Assume all nuts and bolts will be rusted. You will need a socket set and wrenches obviously, and a cutting wheel will make life easy getting the old off. Some WD40 or PB blaster will make life tolerable if you don't have a cutting wheel.

There should be no need to weld anything with that kit. It looks to be all slip joints to me. Just torque the clamps down good (once you have it on the car) and it should be set.
