I have a question which relates to the master cylinders which were fitted to the late 80s and early 90s 740s, 760s, and 940s. IPD seems to have one of these items over here: https://www.ipdusa.com/products/2326...8602016-141570

Specifically, if one has a cracked plastic reservoir on an otherwise good master cylinder, where does one go to get a replacement tank these days? Not Volvo, evidently; as they don't even list reservoirs for these old units.

It got me thinking: Anyone know if this'd fit the tank inlet barb layout of the trusty old ATE 8602016 units? I have a hunch most of these items have been recycled in many ways over the long years -- as that's generally the most cost-effective manner of producing parts like this...

Any information (including tank mount barb size and dimensions, etc.) would be helpful; and, posted here, could also save many otherwise good parts from hitting the trash before their time

Remote reservoir options for these master cylinders could also be of interest!
