Trouble identifying a part: My description
First please forgive my lack of knowledge.
My 1990 740 is spewing ATF out of an aluminum tube that got a hole in it. Looking at the front of the engine, on the left hand side, there are two aluminum tubes that look like the come from the radiator area. The one closest to the engine block is the one that is spewing ATF and goes to the transmission. It got the hole by rubbing up against what looks like a heat shield. It is just a thin piece of curved metal. I've tried patching the hole in the tube, but the ATF finds a way out. If I can get the name of that tube I'll just order a new one. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
DP

transmission cooler lines.
there's two setups, one has an additional transmission cooler just under the radiator, the other has the cooler integrated into the radiator, so theres two metal fittings on the right (passenger) side of said radiator.... assuming you have the latter (which I believe is on non-turbos), the pipe that goes from the forward fitting on the transmission to the lower fitting on the radiator is 3507716, while the other one is 3507714.
on the 1990 turbos with the external ATF cooler, it looks like the forward pipe is 13786687, while the aft one is 3547186.
if you have the B234F 16V engine, then there's yet different PN's for those pipes.
