Volvo 740... Unibody or frame on body?
Hello all!
I have a project in mind... it consists of completely stripping down a volvo 740 untill it is a light, rolling frame that still resembles a car.
The engine has already been removed, i just need to remove the seats, gas tank etc etc... But the problem/question i have is... what kind of a frame does the 740 have?
Is it a unibody or body on frame? I need to know how to strip it down and re-build it from the ground up. Also, does anyone have any idea how heavy it would possibly be?

I use to own a '87 740 GLE and I think it's a Unibody. You can get details about the 700 series cars on Volvo's website: http://www.volvocars.com/us/tools/Ow...lvoOwners.aspx
