760 ignition control computer interchange with 740 computer?
I have a 1989 volvo 760 i am using as a parts vehicle for my 1986 740. I have had problems matching the 1986 ICM computer in my 740. Its number is 0261.201.211. I have not found any other 740 non turbo computers from the lh 2.2 years with matching numbers online.
The computer on this 1989 760 turbo is 0261201011. Im also not sure if the car has a 2.2 or 2.4 system. The vehicle was constructed in November 1988 so it might be an early 1989 model vs a later 1989 model with a 2.4 system.
What ICM computers are safe to interchange with an 86 740 gle and must it also be from another non turbo?
