Default Windshield replacment

I had a stray golf ball smash my windshield the other day while driving around Toronto. This repair is covered under all my insurance so i wont be out of pocket, regardless; is there any problems that can arise after replacing a windshield, or anything i should mention to the shop before they do the work? Ive heard stories about replacment windshileds that the seals are never the same, whistling noises at hig speeds etc...

Default RE: Windshield replacment

A relatively competent shop would know all about it... It is a simple procedure, just tell them that you'll be back if there are any problems afterwards... Volvo uses pop out mouldings and underneath the windshield is sealed in-not too much can go wrong.
