'94 850 Won't pass Smog. Advice?
So this is my first car it passed smog last year, but will not pass now. I don't really know what any of the numbers mean on my Inspection Report. Im looking for any advice that would help me to identify what might be causing these issues. I know the quickest would be to get a diagnostic done, but I'm a college student with minimal funds looking for inexpensive options to get this car to pass.
I have attached a photo of the inspection report.
Any and all help is appreciated! Thank you very much

You failed the evap test. That is the ability for the tank to hold pressure. This is typically caused by bad hoses or a bad gas cap.
On our Volvos the most notorious hose to break in the evap system is a small hose about 6" long that is by the tank (between the tank and the fuel filter but not connecting the two). It usually completely snaps off so it should be easy to see.
Second in the vent hose that is on top of the gas tank. This is a bit more work to replace as you have to drop the tank, sounds bad but not to difficult and can be done in the driveway. Other than that, the line going to the front is solid and the only other connection is up at the charcoal canister.
What they do is pinch the line going into the charcoal canister and then pressurize the tank. If the tank can hold the psi (I think its 3) for a period of time you pass. If these lines are broken you dont.
