Blower working intermittently
Hey Guys,
The blower on both my and my friends 95 and 96 wagons are starting to act funny. Sometimes the switch just doesn't do anything ( aka turn the blower on ) and then it just starts up again like normal the next day. Is this a common switch failure or is there a wiring issue? I know for certain on my 96 that the motor is good, cause I replaced it a few months ago. Any ideas?
My guess is the switch

You may need a new resistor assembly (power stage). If not, the unit itself may be shot. Check for secure electrical connections.
ECC (Automatic) unit will give you stored fault signals by blinking the LEDs on the face panel of the ECC. Clear stored fault codes (if any) and see if it cures the trouble.
See attached; if your A/C is different, then you have ECC. The 3rd pic belongs to a member (cannot remember his name).
