Manual Transmission Swap is done!!!!
Well on Saturday I spend about 10.5 hours at work and got my car all done.
The wagon is not all back together yet but still needs more work as well. I will need to swap a non-turbo engine harness into the car to make the Auto tranny work in there.
I will be making a write up on the swap in the next month. I have to get more pics and write it all up.
Here is one pic of the car almost done. I will be taking more pics soon and adding it to this post.

I can't wait. I found a couple manuals around here in the midwest (one with 167k and one with 200k), one for 1250 and one for 1400, both in kind of rough shape. But I found someone with a M56H for sale that could swap casings so they it has the speed sensor for about 1200. Really considering it since the M56H's are better from what I've read and those are only available in 96/97. hmmmm....decisions decisions.
The 850's look sooo much better with that manual shift stick in there. I CAN'T WAIT.

Tech, since we have practically the same car, year wise, what did you all buy new for the transmission swap? I've been reading about it a lot lately and I've gotten some ideas of what should be replaced, but I don't know if it's exactly the same with the M56H's and M56L's and what HAS to be replaced. THANKS!
