My 94 850 started flashing at me today. You know, the up-shift light. Can I swap a 1998 V70 and put it in my 1994 850? The arrow light was just signaling me for the last few days , but not flashing until today. I've done the other stuff, I know I need to do a flush, but I'm thinking this switch is out. Let me know, Marvin .

 

I checked my interchange and it looks like it should.

VOLVO850(1993 - 1997)
VOLVOC70(1998 - 2000)
VOLVOS70(1998 - 2000)
VOLVOS80(1999 - 2002)
VOLVOV70(1998 - 2000)

The one thing I would check out is if the connector is male or female. I seem to remember they could come either way and I'm not sure how to determine which a vehicle has other that to look at it. I think it lists it that way on the IPD site.
