Default Universal Oxygen Sensor

So a while back, i had posted a couple questions on splicing in o2 sensors from exsiting configurations say from your other car, you sold and have spare parts for, like this o2 sesnsor i had for a 2000 Ford explorer, being produced after my 1994 Volvo 850 i thought if it had the same colour wires and could be soldered in, then heat shrinked and very well done like i had done myself with a mechanic present, all would be fine since thats technically all a universal sensor is...However all worked except for the fact a few days later my lambda light was tripped i got two codes po130 po135

02 sensor heater malfunction, and o2 sesnor circuit or whatever malfunction. so its internally shot.

I did replace both sensors, before and after the cat and bank 1, before the cat failed, they were done the same way but the length of the wires compared to the OEM one reched but was like less than 1cm short, i'm assuming the resistance and maybe ohm's and what not were off too much and it just failed, so point is, it doesn't necessarily work to splice in the sensors and its best to get the OEM direct connector instead of using other or previous sensors just to save yourself doing the work twice.

So i tried it like i said i would, one of 2 worked just letting anyone know who is that much of a hack to attempt to splice in the O2 sensor like me .. instead of dropping $250 on a volvo sensor, it works but get the wires lengths right to be on the safe side
