hi guys iv'e just spentthis afternoon replacing a breather pipe on my 850 t5 as the old one fell to bits (old and brittle) now to do this the intake manifold has to come off.
so after doing all that i started engine everything fine. it hasn't cured my original fault which is smoking at idle.
but added another fault the guage for the turbo isn't working now, in the car on the instrument panel (dashboard) is the turbo guage. a white and black area when i throttled up it would go into white area and coasting down hill in the black area of the guage.
but now it doesn't move at all although turbo on engine seems to be working fine.
is there a sensor etc were iv'e been working near the intake manifold ?
can anyone tell me where to look for problem.
and has anyone got a diagram of the various tubes and pipes that you pull off in order to take off the intake manifold.
i think i've put them back correctly but now not so sure.

Look by the L/S (Drivers side US) by the hood latch there should be a white or black plastic hose.That feeds vacume to the turbo guage. Make sure if is connected to the engine.
