Default Please help!

Hello!

I bought a C30 2.0 litre diesel sport, '07 plate, with 48,000 miles on the clock back in April. Have had no end of problems with it - new fly wheel, new ABS control module as brake pressure sensor failed...... and now the car keeps going into limp home mode.
It did this once back in October and afterwards was fine, but the last 2 days it has done it 3 times. No message on the dash showing and it clears if I stop, and turn off the engine.
Have read it could possibly be due to very low fuel in tank..... but I had just filled the tank minutes before.
The car has been a nightmare since I bought it - but this new problem is plain dangerous.
It had a full service one month ago so would have had the fuel filter replaced.....
Please can anyone offer any advice? I'm guessing that if I take it to the garage unless it is in limp home mode at the time, no codes will show?
Please help if you can.
Thank you in advance!

It could possibly be going into "limp-home" mode because the DPF filter is clogged up.

The easy cure is to drive it at 70mph in 4th gear for 20 mins and this will cause the DPF filter to re-generate.

You need to do this once a week, especially if you drive in city traffic a lot.

'07 should be prior to DPF, right?

I've no idea if '07s had DPF filters or not. Mine is an 09 and it has one............
