2006 S40 Front wheel bearing replacement with Hub-Shark
I'm fairly certain my 2006 S40 (140k miles) needs a left front hub - loud humming noise that gets louder when I turn right - and I was wondering if anyone had tried using something like the Hub-Shark to do the job? Everything else I've read requires removing the unit from the car to press the hub out/in but it seems like it would be much easier if it could be done with it still on the car. I think there are other similar products but I'm not sure this type of tool will work for S40 Volvos. Thanks!

Not sure but another option would be to simply replace the entire spindle/hub assembly with a used one from the wreckyard. I did that for mine (2003) and it was an easy DIY job. No need for a press. Just a tool to pop the ball joint. Not sure if same would apply for your vintage. If it's anything like my 2010 v70 the ball joint is a b@txh to remove without special tools.

2008 C70 Wheel Bearing
I own a 2008 C70 and I just replaced the wheel bearing with an aftermarket one. I took the Hun and new wheel bearing to a local shop and they pressed the bearing for me but now after reinstalling everything my ABS sensor is on.. Do you need a new sensor with a new bearing?
ABS light on after new wheel bearing/hub ?
I plan to swap my hub assemblies on my '08 C70 when it gets below sauna temps; don't think I'll have to worry about your issue since the *** hub and bearing assemblies I'm using come as a sealed unit (***-31340604 IIRC, but can't open FCP Euro's website for some reason to confirm).
