I'm a new member here and glad to find this forum.

6 month ago, i took a used 98 volvo s40 T4.

From then it make a whistling sound whenever i press a accel paddle in deep.
volvo engineer defined this problem from a torn brake booster diaphragm.

so I'm looking for a used part but have difficulty to figure out which is which.
I found a number, Bosch 30857437, from the tag on it.

Now a question, is it a unique number for a part?
Or is there any other variant part with same number??

Yes, it does and I have a little confidence because I do not know the part compatibility.
Is there any know-how how to check the compatibility?
And I've been thought below item for a few days.

It has the same Bosch part number as your car's brake booster and it looks the same? My guess is it will fit and work just fine.
