Default Check Engine code P0013

I have recently replaced all the V.VT. parts and seals on my 2000 S40. After receiving the car back from the shop all was good. A few days later the Check Engine light came on with the code of P0014. I reset the computer and it did not come back on. I replaced the spark plugs just a few days ago and when I finished the job I started the car and the Check Engine light was on once again. This time the code was P0013. I find it unlikely that changing the spark plugs triggered the computer to realize that the Camshaft position sensor has gone bad or the Solenoid has gone bad. I did replace the gasket under the Solenoid when the timing belt was replaced. Any thoughts are welcome. Thank you for your time.

I have read that you can check the actual and commanded angle of the exhaust cam with a DiCE tool. I have not tried it yet so it's only someone's comment previously.

Did you check if the cam position sensor was tight in the reluctor wheel housing? It points down and if the 10mm bolt is loose could back out. I'd check the housing too. It has two 10mm bolts.

Default Slight tear in Solenoid wire

Today my car started to overheat. I found a tear in one of the wires to the solenoid. Could this cause the car to overheat? I have not had a chance to get under the hood due to the weather but I think the car is low on antifreeze which leads me to believe that there is a leak in one of the hoses or the radiator itself. I replaced the water pump just a couple of months ago because there was a leak there so I hope it is not that again. Thank you for your time.

Check the hoses on the back side of the engine too. There are a couple of small ones to the turbo that can get cooked above all that heat. I found one leaking down onto the cat convertor and O2 sensor.

My biggest leak area was the top hose at the T fitting. It was a constant slow leak down the side of the radiator. No amount of clamps could stop it either. Only a new one fixed it up for me.
