Volvo S40 T5 :
Message comes on screen saying "Urgent electrical service" with information triangle and battery sign on display. Travelled approximately 300 kilometres and when I stopped,smoke was coming from the Alternator/throttle position sensor area. Disconnected battery immediately . Reconnected the battery and its totally dead,wont start,no lights on dashboard etc. and the transponder key cannot be removed.
Has anybody had a similar problem.
