No Boost 03 s40 Please Help
Hello,
I am out of ideas and need some expert advice. Recently my 2003 volvo had a bad turbo . The car was sluggish with high pitch noise coming from turbo during 0 to 20 mph. My bluetooth OBD2 reader read only vacuum and would not go over to boost. After doing the following I still have by reader reading vacuum plus the car is still a little sluggish and I don't get the kick from the turbo. The old turbo was leaking oil into the intake side and I had to clean the sensor connecting to PCV hose on the intake hose.
1) Replaced turbo with another used housing, wastegate and bov. I bought a new CHRA and rebuild a second turbo to replace the one from my car.
2) Replaced the 3 vacuum lines going to wastegate, bov and intake hose.
3) Changed the oil, oil filter and refill the coolant.
I don't know what else could possibly be causing the turbo not to kick and need someone advice as to what could be the problem. I got it to read 2psi after multiple attempts and flooring it. Thank you in advance for your help.
