Is there such a thing? everytime I try to research this car, I find that they were all turbo cars.

I took a look at a used 2000 s40 this weekend, carfax'ed the vin - should be a turbo car according to them

The owner of this car states "not turbo" and unless I'm blind, I took a look under the hood and there's no turbo.

edmunds, kbb, carfax.. all say this is a turbo car.

How do I figure out blue book value?

About the specific s40 - it's a 2000, 66k miles, ticking lifters, heavy varnish visible under the gas cap. At speed, the car is pretty noisy. not a turbo whine, but a loud whine nonetheless. He said that the motor mounts have been replaced. needs new tires. Hood is damaged, looks like he was backed into by a truck as the bumper is fine. the grill is slightly pushed in.

no frame damage.

he was asking 7400, but just called me, said he was taking off for a few weeks and wanted to sell the car fast... $6k.

any advice?

I have never seen a Non-turbo S40 Till 2004.5.

I didn't know they made a S40 Non-Turbo.

 

Is there a big turkey pan on the passenger firewall?
