2006 s60 2.5T thermostat
hello. i am in need of a new thermostat, or so I've been told. the temp needle seems to want to stay on the cold side. i know that i will need the full housing thermostat. my question is, how difficult is it to remove and replace? i can see the thermostat is held in by two screws, are there any more screws that holds the housing? i can not find a tutorial on R&R on the whole housing. if anyone has any info/input, it would greatly be appreciated. thanks!

looked at some tutorials and found some info useful. I've got the replacement part and it looks like only two screws. I've already got the top one loose but am having a hard time with the bottom one. would i need to remove the power steering pump to get the job done? is there any tips/tricks? i also bought an extension for the t40 torx as well.

well, finally got it done yesterday. took about 4 hours for me. it was pretty easy taking the thermo out but putting it back in was a pain and dropping the bolt in the engine bay somewhere was no fun either. but found it and put it all back in and everything works good now. the needle is up in the middle like usual on the temp gauge.
