Error Message - DIP Light Failure
Upon startup of 2001 S60t, computer shows error message of "bulb failure, dip light failure."
What does this mean?
It appears that the headlights work on both the normal and bright settings and I do not see an other lights out.
The dealer said it might be the headlights but they would need to inspect it on Monday.
Any opinions or solutions?

RE: Error Message - DIP Light Failure
I took it to the dealer this morning.
Told them that last night the headlights worked, we then drove around the block and the low beam lights did not work.
This morning everything worked fine. This tells me the bulbs are good even though the message says bulb failure.
They checked and said I had a short, then they came back and said that a relay under the dash was not working and that it would need to be replaced but they do not stock them. They will ship it in and install on Wednesday. They also indicated that when they change this part, they must also reprogram the computer to tell it to see or operate the relay. What a crock!
They said the cost would be $180 - $210.
The lights worked fine during my errands after I left the shop and on my last stop, I again received the error message.
On top of all this they said my extended coverage did not cover this part.
I'll give them a call later today, but everyone knows how that goes....
Any other ideas?
