Default Tricks for removing turbo boost pipe?

Does anyone have any tricks for removing the turbo boost pipe on a 2002 S60? I'm trying to replace the spark plugs but can't get the boost pipe detached from the end nearest the cabin no matter how hard I pull, and twisting is not really possible. (I did remove the two torx screws holding the pipe and the collar around the attachment...)

You don't have to remove it. Removing the two T25 screws holding it to the intake allows enough movement side to side to get to the T30 screws under it holding the coil cover on.

If you want to remove it to give you more room, just loosen the hose clamp. I've never had one give me any sort of trouble whatsoever.

Ok I will try it without removing the pipe. I did loosen the hose clamp when I tried removing it, and the clamp was definitely disengaged, but just couldn't work the end of the pipe out from its attachment. Thanks!
