This is some very interesting data, thank you for posting and updating. I'm looking at purchasing an '05 S60 with 63,000 on the clock and this research gives me some good background.

So, how have these cars been doing lately?

Our reliability stats for the S60 now include owner experiences through March 31, 2015. (Others are nearly a year behind.)

In terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year:

2015 S60: 43, moderate, small sample size
2014 S60: 26, low, very small sample size
2013 S60: 13, low
2012 S60: 34, low
2007 S60: 72, moderate
2006 S60: 87, moderate
2005 S60: 97, moderate
2004 S60: 91, moderate
2004 S60 R: 90, moderate, very small sample size
2003 S60: 99, moderate, small sample size
2002 S60: 120, high
2001 S60: 84, moderate

We have two additional statistics, "Nada-odds" and "Lemon-odds", to indicate the percentage of cars with no repairs in the past year and those that required 3+ trips to the repair shop:

2013 S60: 89, < 1
2006 S60: 49, 11
2005 S60: 34, 7
2004 S60: 44, 7
2001 S60: 52, < 1

Next updates in August and in November. The more owners participate, the more comprehensive and precise these will be.

Our reliability stats for the S60 now cover the year ending June 30, 2015. (Others are over a year behind, and so report how these cars were doing when a year younger.)

Repair trips per 100 cars:

2015 S60: 27, low
2013 S60: 14, low
2012 S60: 20, low
2007 S60: 79, moderate
2006 S60: 81, moderate
2005 S60: 80, moderate
2004 S60: 81, moderate
2004 S60 R: 112, moderate, very small sample size
2003 S60: 98, moderate, small sample size
2002 S60: 143, high
2001 S60: 93, moderate

We have two additional statistics, "Nada-odds" and "Lemon-odds", to indicate the percentage of cars with no repairs in the past year and those that required 3+ trips to the repair shop:

2013 S60: 89, < 1
2006 S60: 51, 5
2005 S60: 40, 4
2004 S60: 47, 5
2002 S60: 24, 19
2001 S60: 48, 10

If a model year isn't listed, or its sample size is small, then we especially need more owners involved.

We've updated our reliability stats for the S60 to include owner experiences through the end of 2015, about eight months ahead of other sources.

In terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year--lower is better:

2015 S60 / V60: 23, low
2014 S60: 57, high, very small sample size
2013 S60: 29, low
2012 S60: 20, low
2007 S60: 67, moderate
2006 S60: 99, high
2005 S60: 75, moderate
2004 S60: 97, moderate
2003 S60: 140, high, small sample size
2002 S60: 124, high
2001 S60: 86, moderate

We have two additional statistics, "Nada-odds" and "Lemon-odds", to indicate the percentage of cars with no repairs in the past year and those that required 3+ trips to the repair shop:

2013 S60: 71, < 1
2006 S60: 48, 11
2005 S60: 54, 3
2004 S60: 41, 7
2002 S60: 35, 17
2001 S60: 58, 18

No stat, or a small sample size? Then we especially need more owners involved for that model year.
