RE: Sirius Satellite Radio
I just did this myself. First http://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/s60_radio_console_removal.php that that will explain how to remove the radio. Personally for me that didn't work entirely. I had to get it to an angle so I could use a very thin screwdriver to push those E-clips. That works but so does the other method just be careful very careful. Before you make any disconnections of wires disconnect the battery. I hardwired the electricity and the fm modulator. For the electric I tapped into the cig lighter and my ground was down below the e-brake. For the FM Modulator to work you need the volvo adapter. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8716142&st=40-VL30&lp=1&type=product&cp=1&id=120 0702389908#tabbed-customerreviews Thats what you need along with the Modulator. I ordered the professional installation package and put the mount on the top of the radio below the hazard light switch. I had to remove a little of the dash (behind the radio) but its sturdy and in a great place. Oh this might be helpful to my car was an 01 S60 not sure if the 2006 is similar...I just noticed that.
