Default Heated windshield

We're considering the purchase of a V60 and like the idea of a heated windshield. Does anyone have one and are the wires visible enough to be objectionable?

Thumbs down Wired windshield?!

Hi, I don't know if anyone answered but I found the question in a search. I just bought 2015 S60 T6 that has a heated windshield. I didn't notice it on the test drives but the day after I bought it I definitely noticed it. I'm hoping I'll get used to it but I wouldn't have probably purchased a car with this option. I keep focusing on the road then back on the little wires. I find it to be worse in low/side sun positions and at night with bright oncoming headlights. I'm a little bummed out because I love everything else on the car but it's like looking through a screen. It's a day old and I'm already hoping for a rock to hit it!

Default

We've had ours now for 6 months and I can honestly say that I almost never notice it. Only if I'm looking into the sun at a low angle can I tell it's even there and then just barely.
Besides, it's part of a package that includes a heated steering wheel and I won't ever be without one of those again since I have something called Raynauds which causes my fingers to lose circulation when they're cold.

Default Hope to adapt...

I love everything else about the car (I concur on the heated steering wheel). I hope it will fade but after 5 days I still toggle back and forth from the wires to the road. Contributing factors might be LASIK surgery a number of years ago and the polarized sunglasses I typically wear. It seams to stand out more with those. Anyway thanks for the reply!

Default Not noticable

I can see it if I focus on it, but really only notice it in oncoming headlights, and then only briefly. My previous car would fog up on the equator, so I appreciate the qualities it brings.
