Oversize Tire for '07 S60 AWD 16"

I'd like to go slightly oversize on a new set of tires.

Original size is supposed to be 205/55R-16 but I've found that I can go up to a 225/50R-16.

Is this recommended?

those tires would fit. 205/55R16 and 225/50R16 both have the same diameter (24.9"). However, you might experience slight rub on when fully loaded.
