Default Rusty lug bolts. Covers??

Hi all,

i just bought a really clean S60, but the lug bolts bring down the rest of the car. Are there covers avail other than the generic eBay items?

thanks!

Happened to look at a XC90 for sale today that had rusty lugs. We questioned the owner about and he stated something to the effect that they were reversed - that when putting (the tires?) back on with only one person, this was the easiest way to do it. I wasn't directly involved in the conversation, so I'm not sure exactly what he was referring to.

Why not just buy some nice replacement lug bolts - IPD sells both OEM and aftermarket chrome lug bolts in the $3-5 range per... Oh and IPD also sells the covers - $14 for the kit.

Thanks!

That was just what I was looking for, although now I'm pondering the stud conversion kit. Any drawback to using those??

Stud conversions don't really make sense to me. the hub is threaded so all your doing is putting in a stud and then fitting a nut on top where the lug bolt is all one piece. If you want to simplify mounting the wheels during change over, you can always buy a single mounting pin (also IPD sells these) - but as the wheels are hub centric, I've never needed them.
