S60 2006 Lin Bus Error
Hi everyone
My mechanic installed two new 2006 s60 AC door actuator motors, but then he realized he didn't have a scanner to "calibrate" them.
I took it to my local Volvo dealer to get them calibrated and they told me they can't communicate with the motors, they get a "Line Bus" error code .
Ok so they have had the car for over a week and can't find the source of the problem.
They said they have emailed Volvo and are waiting for an answer.
Does anyone have an idea of what is going on?
Volvo spoke to them, they have tried to disconnect everything from the Lin Bus and still they are clueless
Thanks

Can you get the DTCs that are setting as that will help us.
Have them disconnect the GN-W wires from terminal A:12 and A:7. Then they should have two voltmeters with red lead on these terminals and black lead to ground. If they power up the CCM then these voltmeters should read battery voltage for a few seconds. The DTC they have is either for LIN bus 1 or LIN bus 2. They should cross reference this test with the DTC they have and see which one is defective.
If their previous tests of disconnecting 'everything' is correct then they should see a difference (between the two voltmeters) here. If there is no difference then the issue lies in the wiring or motors. If there is a difference then you need a new CCM and that might have been the root cause all along.
Let us know the outcome.
