Sensus not Activated? Standard Features 2015.5 S60 T5
Hi Everyone,
I'm a newbie- both new to the forum and a new Volvo owner since last August. I have an S60 T5 AWD and I ordered the 2015 model with Bliss and Safety features, Premier Trim level.
When I received it, the salesperson told me I "lucked out" since I received the 2015.5. I have since read that a standard feature on the 2015.5s is Nav and Volvo on-call. In fact, I went on to the website, and it says that Sensus is standard at that trim level.
When I purchased, only the 2015 was available and my vehicle had to come from Sweden with the options I chose, but they were no longer making that model (the initial 2015.0). When I press "Nav" on the console, the message on the console says to contact my dealer for activation or purchase. I did that and no one called me back, I waited over Christmas and just contacted them again.
Just wanted to be prepared- originally in the model I ordered, Nav was a option and I didn't think it was worth an extra 2K. Now that it comes standard and that's the version that I got, it seems that it should be included since it's standard on the version I was delivered.
I wanted to get your thoughts on this.
Thanks!

THis is only my opinion. I would gather my purchase papers and consult an attorney with experience litigating for or against car dealers. The salesman's assertion that you lucked out by ordering a 2015.5 which comes standard with NAV, etc., sounds like a promise that the car would have that feature. The dealer, in my opinion, is obligated to provide the feature.
