1998 Volvo s70 glt not starting
I own a 1998 volvo s70 glt which currently isn't running. It's been running fine with no problems and then one day right after it ran and the engine was still warm it decides to turn over and just keep chugging away without fully starting. While trying to figure out the problem I got to the fuel pump and that was still kicking on and working fine but it wouldn't start untill later that night it started and ran without any issues just like before and so I went through and changed spark plugs and wires as well as the fuel filter and about 600 miles later the same thing happened and that was about two and a half weeks ago and hasn't started since then, just chugging away. I can't figure out the problem and if you have any advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading!

its possible for your coil to create an intermittent short but I'd second gdog's suggestion on checking or replacing the fuel pump relay. the relay points can corrode and get sticky - which can be good one day, bad the next. With a bad contact you'd get low fuel pressure - just enough to almost start but not enough to run... Not a bad idea to replace - score one for $30 at eeuroparts.com... (drop in a KAE and keep the old one in the glove box...)
