Hood Idea
Hello everyone! So my brother and I had an idea to put a different hood on our S70. We just get bored with the plain stock hood and want a more sporty one. So here it is, let me know what you think.
The S70 hood has that dip where the grill is. After taking off the original hood, we would somehow make the space where the dip was solid. Maybe just cover it with some mesh or something, I don't think we don't really need it for support. Then we find a hood we like, a normal hood without the dip, that will fit the existing hood space and put that in place. We could then secure it with some pins and clips at the corners instead of using the car's existing latch system.
Does this sound feasible? Do you think the hood would be table enough or would it want to go flying up all the time?

My camera is down at the moment, but I'll try to describe it better. Hmmmm....
It's not a dip I guess, it's the area where the hood drops down for the grill. Most car hoods don't have a grill that are connected to the hood and drop down like that, their grills just stay solid in between the lights. So I was wondering if you could make that area where the grill comes down from the hood solid, then put a regular flat hood on. Does that make better sense?
