Default 98 volvo s70 fan kills battery

OK so I have read other threads about this issue and have tired just about anything i can think of. You turn car off and fan still runs. I have replaced the cts, the replay. Where else do I go from here. Its getting frustrating because it keeps killing the battery. Thanks for an help.

Which fan are you talking about, the engine cooling fan, or the fan for the cabin heater. If the engine fan then check the temperature control sensor at the thermostat housing. Or disconnect the fans until you can sort it out. IF the cabin fan it could be the control unit or the fan itself.
