Default Aftermarket catalytic converters

So I have a 2000 S70 with a bad cat. I have been told that aftermarket units dont work on this car. The OEM is $1200! Anyone have experience with this?

The OEM will always be the best. They do make some aftermarket ones that would work also. The only thing i know about aftermarket ones is they dont last. Usually gives you a good year or 2 before they go out. They have less honeycomb inside. The only aftermarket i would trust is magnaflow.
