Default Manual Transmission Swap...

I was thinking the other day how great it would be to have a manual transmission in my T5 so I figured I would post something....

Anyone have any ideas about how much it would cost to swap in a manual tranny??

Would one from an 850 swap in?

Any thoughts or comments appreciated!

Pretty sure an M56H would swap in, which were the manual transmissions from 96/97 850's. Full manual swap kits range from 700-1000. If you have to get it shipped,it's about 150-200. You need to also get a new clutch kit for it. Those are about 250 shipped. All in all, figure about 1500. I just received my manual swap kit a couple days ago, it is a M56H, swapped into the M56L casing so it will work on my 94, the guy also threw in a new master cylinder for a T5 which is stronger than the NAs. All that was 1150 shipped. And unless you can do the swap yourself or find someone to help, it would be super expensive to have a dealership do it, if they even would.
