Need aftermarket alarm & keyless entry system
Hello all ,
I am now on my 3rd Volvo wagon. I have been driving this 2004 V70 for 3 1/2 years.
Here's the question.... If I get an aftermarket alarm and keyless entry security system installed (AutoPage RF-350) will I need to also install a transponder bypass module (idatalink ADS-ALOM CA) to control the door and hatch locks? By the way, I no longer have the original OEM key fob.
Thanks so much for your time.

Aftermarket Keyless Entry on VOLVO V70 2003 model. Yes it can be done. Purchased my Volvo but came without a remote fob, I would not pay Volvo silly prices for a new fob and also for the Software at a dealer. Purchased a universal Keyless entry kit from Ebay and completed the job in a couple of hours. Please note this system is only so as not to use your ignition key to lock and unlock the vehicle.

Aftermarket keyless entry
[QUOTE=mf738;527596]Hello. Could you please tell me which wires should use for keyless entry. And the wire location
Hi, this was about 8 years ago, this is only to lock and unlock the car without a key. the wires if I remember right are located inside the drivers door, I removed the door card and the wires were running along the top, I used a circuit tester. So I earthed one end of circuit tester and poked into various wires with the other end of the circuit tester until the central locking was activated, I located 2 wires, one to open and one to shut, then connected the after market kit to these 2 wires. Before all this I tried to locate these wires to the right of the drivers footwell but was not successful so I ended up removing the door card. Perhaps you might have better luck. Cant remember the colour of the wires. Good luck
