S70 Driver window stuck down

S70 Driver window stuck down
Window went down, but neither masterswitch nor driver's switch will send it back up. I replaced Masterswitch, which solved other window problems (after this forum's recommendation), but driver's window still won't work. I then connected the rear window switch to driver's and it did not work (although this switch works in rear location). Is there a fuse seperate for this window motor? Could there be a short somewhere else? How do I diagnose problem? Any help?

RE: S70 Driver window stuck down
Check for input voltage at window motor, should get 12 volts to it. If you get voltage to motor and it does not function, its probably a bad window motor. If you do not get the voltage to the motor, then you have a wiring problem, of some sort. You will need to ohm test the wires for the drivers side window circuit. Time to put the voltmeter to work. Thanks for the advice. Took panel off passanger's door and found loose connector at motor. Window up from driver's new masterswitch. Passanger switch only operates the window down. Won't activate it back up. Must be a bad switch there also? Also, after installing new masterswitch, door lock switch only unlocks. won't put locks back down.
I think I've got some electrical gremlins in this car.

Ok, I have read both posts again, I want to make sure Im on same page as you. Tell me if im wrong though.
1. You replaced master switch, and now thepass side window will go up and down, but only off the master switch.? (If that statement is correct, I would assume a bad pass side window switch)
2. Door lock problem, the master switch will unlock all doors, but not lock them now.?(Will the old master switch work in both directions, lock/unlock?) (Also, will all locks function properly by using passenger side lock button?)
If I read correctly, I would suspect passenger side window switch, and possibly a loose connection on master switch for locking problem. Let me know if this helps improve your symptoms. GL
