auto dim mirror not dimming!

99 t6 with the auto dim mirror but it never dims. checked but dont c a fuse for it... what could be the deal?

Could be codes in the UEM not allowing the mirror to work.

how do i check these codes? OBD2 scanner will pick them up?

No they won't.
Either a Dealer or Indipendent shop that specializes in Volvo's.
