Battery Drain, Injection fuse 37
2007 S 80 3.2 V6 Front wheel drive I have isolated the drain down to the #37 fuse, fuel injection fuse under hood. I have to listen real close in engine compartment hear a faint high pitched whine after turning engine off, until I pull the #37 fuse. Battery dies after 24 hour of sitting without pulling fuse.

Hey manitouboat.
Some cars fuel pumps do that with a door open, in preparation to start. Others wait until the key turns. Also, the pump keeps the lines pressurized. If you have a leak (could be as simple as getting a new gas cap) the pump wants to keep going to keep fuel lines pressurized. Atleast that's my understanding of it.
I have a thread were I found my parasitic drain, its posted here. Just because pulling the fuse makes the noise stop doesn't mean its what is doing it. You need to go threw the steps I did with a digital multimeter or a clamp meter. Find out how much its drawing, while looking pull fuses.
Check my thread out if you want to see how I was told to do it, It worked for me. Link to my discussion and the process I used to find the cause. It wasn't a fuse or relay at all. However your case could be.

The drain doesn't have to be solved with a fuse or relay. Mine wasn't, turned out to be an alternator I believe. Don't know 100% until I pull the alt out and test it. But evidence seems fairly strong when you look at my last post of my topic.
