Default clicking noise in my front end?

I was driving slow in my neighborhood the other day with the windows down and noticed a series of clicks in the front end when i put my foot on the gas and when i take it off anyone have any ideas as to what this could be or is it normal? I can't hear it if the windows are up.

Might be a Bad front Axle.
Are the boots torn?

Im not sure if the boots are torn? To be honest Im not really a gearhead i don't even know what the boots are or where i can find them? If it is an axle how much am i looking at, and how do i find a certified volvo mechanic?
P.S. thanks for all your help

If you look under the car like on the inside of the tire. You will see the Axle going over towards the engine.
The boots are on each end of the Axle.

I think it is like $250.00 per side to have them replaced.

Either the Dealer or Find a Volvo specialists Indipendant shop in your area.

I looked at the boots and they seem to be fine. I didn't see any tears, they both seemed to be in pretty good shape.

I would have someone look at it good and make sure that one of the hub bolts didn't back out and is rubbing on the Axle.

There are also inner boots and outer boots. The innter boots will click upon accel and decel and the outer boots will click when turning the wheel while the car is moving.
