cabin air filter

RE: cabin air filter
If your recirculation button says "aut/man" on it then you have the charcoal type filter. If it's simply an on/off button then you probably have the regular. Safe bet, for the few $ difference buy the charcoal one. It will fit in the housing no matter what system you have, you just remove a plastic tab.

RE: cabin air filter
Its actually quite a pain in the **** to replace. I had to remove the trim piece on the passenger side of center console to remove the other trim piece under glove box. Then I had to buy a stubby ratchet and a set of greatneck torx socketsw to unscrew the two screws in the back of the box because they were too close to the floorboard for my torx screwdriver. Finally popped open the box to find there was no filter in there at all. LOL. I bought a cheap, non-charcoal, one on ebay for like $10.
