Default P0014 code, what to look for

I have a P0014 code which is "B" Camshaft Position - Timing Over-Advanced or System Performance(Bank 1).

Looking for some tips on what to look at first. The main complaint is that I have a rough idle.

The timing belt was replaced at the dealership last month and it had a rough idle before that with a CEL on. I'm a little baffled why the dealership didn't check/fix this then.

Anyway, help is appreciated.

The rough idle could be from a dirty throttle body, you'll need to get some throttle body cleaner and a wire brush and clean it up, as for the sensor i'm not sure, have a great day!

True, but i've already cleaned it and it wasn't very dirty to begin with.

its possible the VVT gear is stuck in the advanced position or possibly the cam position sensor

To check that I would need to pull the timing belt off?

The dealership did say to drive it for about a month and if it didn't clear up they would try to clean the screen. I'm assuming they meant the CVVT solenoid screen?
