Scheduled Maintenance
I would like to ask the mechanics and supermembers out there what their opinion is on dealer scheduled maintenance. My T6 was due for a 30K srvice about 10K ago, but the service seems quite expensive for what seems to be routine maintenace and inspections.
Do you think I should bite the bullet and take it to the dealer, or find an outside mechanic to do more work for less money?
Would love expert opinions.

RE: Scheduled Maintenance
30K service is about $300 at my local dealer, you are driving a $30,000 car. Those inspections have a purpose , a split CV joint boot that might have been found at the 30k service would have cost about $75 to repair, now it would costing you over $800.
I hope you been changing the oil, Turbos don't like dirty oil.
If the car is under warranty, you take it to the dealer, if out of warranty find an independent that specializes in Volvos, not a Jiffy Lube.

RE: Scheduled Maintenance
i think its like 599$, but do what i do, and say..." I got these coupons from the delearship in the mail, i think there was one for 10%"....instant 10% off your bill.... its kinda funny cause i do it just about everytime... and there has not been a time where they have not...
the parts only come to about 200$(what I saw when I looked at my report).... So if you can do it yourself you'd save a lot more
