Sunroof will open, but not close
I had parked my 2001 S80 in Tahoe, and when I returned it was about 35 degrees. The sunroof initially would not open, but after a few tries it opened up. However it wouldn't close all the way, and now the sunroof opens perfectly but won't close. I can only get it to close a little bit if I open the sunroof, but not enough to actually make the sunroof more closed.
I can't afford to take it into the shop to have the sunroof repaired, so I'm looking to either: manually close the sunroof or fix it myself.
I've already tried resetting the UEM, and clearly the sunroof is not off the tracks, since it opens. Does anyone have any ideas? I've looked at a lot of similar problems with sunroofs on the internet but none seem to be only working in one direction, like mine.
In the meantime I'm going to throw a tarp over the sunroof when I park the car. Hopefully I can get this fixed asap!

I had the same exact problem on my 99' S80 my sun roof would go back completely but would stop about 3 inches from being totally closed. Unfortunately I couldn't figure out a way to do it so I had to get a shop close it, it cost me about 100 bucks, but I already knew the guy who did it. Hopefully you can find a way to get it closed
